EXPECTING THE HEALING
When it comes to receiving your healing, it is not mind over matter; instead it is carnal feelings and views versus spiritual understanding. If one who is sick has taken the time to have prayer for them or spends time in prayer for a particular need -- why not expect to be healed. Isaiah 53:5 says " and with his stripes we are healed." Notice I Peter 2:24 (by whose stripes ye were healed); notice the tense of the words in this scripture, the healing has already taken place.
When we were born, we were given senses by which to operate our lives. These senses control the emotional make-up of our feelings; when we come to God our personal senses should be moved aside in order that the Spirit of God can rule. Many struggle when first they come into the New Birth experience because of habits which they have; these can be subdued by giving God's Spirit complete control and let it lead us instead of the five senses which we were born with.
Listed below are scriptures which will aid our faith. Forget how you feel, do not dwell on the things you are going through -- dwell on the scriptures and let the Spirit completly saturate your human spirit.
